About Sagra del Bisateo
The eel that gives the festival its name
The Sagra del Bisateo di Corte is the gastronomic festival of the hamlet of Corte, in Piove di Sacco, province of Padua. The name comes from bisàto (in Venetian dialect, eel), the symbolic dish of the festival: a product linked to the waters and culinary traditions of the Saccisica territory.

In Piazzale della Brenta, the food stand offers the famous bisàto along with typical dishes of Venetian cuisine. The evenings come alive with live music, with a different band each night, in a popular and convivial festive atmosphere typical of summer festivals in the Padua region.
A community festival
Organised by Pro Loco Corte with the patronage of the Municipality of Piove di Sacco, the festival is a rooted event that brings together the inhabitants of the hamlet and the surrounding areas.
