The Festa del Cavallo, also known as Legnaro LIVE, is one of the most popular festivals in Legnaro, a municipality in the Saccisica area of the province of Padua. Organized by the Pro Loco Legnaro, it is held in the Viale dello Sport area, at the Park Università, and celebrates a gastronomic tradition rooted in the territory.
Horse meat specialties
The heart of the festival is the gastronomic stand with a rich menu based on horse meat: shredded meat (sfilacci), steaks (bistecche), straecca, and tasty sandwiches, accompanied by a well-stocked beer garden in front of the stage. A culinary experience that attracts enthusiasts from all over the province.
Music, shows, and luna park
The event features evenings of live music, dancing, equestrian shows, and a large luna park for children. With free admission and evening shows, the festival combines gastronomic tradition with the convivial atmosphere typical of Venetian village festivals.

The 2026 edition of the Festa del Cavallo – Legnaro LIVE runs from May 29 to June 8 in the Viale dello Sport area, at the Park Università in Legnaro, organized by Pro Loco Legnaro.
The star is the gastronomic stand with its rich horse meat menu — shredded meat (sfilacci), steak (bistecca), straecca, and sandwiches — accompanied by a beer garden in front of the stage. The stand opens at 7:30 PM (Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 PM), while evening shows begin at 10:00 PM. The program includes live music, dancing, equestrian shows, and a luna park for children.

How to get there
Legnaro is located southeast of Padua, reachable by car from the SR516 and by public transport from Padua. The festival takes place in Viale dello Sport, at the Park Università.
