A Mountain Festival
The Sagra del Baloch is held in the hamlet of Zambla Alta, in Oltre il Colle, in the province of Bergamo, in the scenic setting of the Colle di Zambla park. The name, in Bergamasco dialect, refers both to a playful person and to an ancient local cheese: a double meaning that well represents the spirit of the festival, combining good food and fun.
Typical Flavors and Country Games
The afternoon opens with a market of typical products and crafts, with dozens of stalls offering mountain cheeses, cured meats, jams, cakes, honey, and Bergamasco wines. There are also country games: a treasure hunt in the hay, skill games, a wheelbarrow obstacle course, laser rifle shooting, and the famous Cow Bingo, where bets are placed on where the cows will "leave their mark.".
For All Ages
The festival is designed for the whole family: children can enjoy pony rides and meet the animals at the educational farm present at the event. Organized by the Pro Loco of Oltre il Colle, the Sagra del Baloch is a well-established summer event, capable of promoting the culture and beauty of a corner of the upper Seriana Valley of Bergamo, amidst the Orobie mountains.
Sagra del Baloch — edition 2026
On August 13, 2026, Zambla Alta, a hamlet of Oltre il Colle, will revive the Sagra del Baloch in the Colle di Zambla park. Starting in the afternoon, the market of typical products will offer mountain cheeses, cured meats, jams, honey, and Bergamasco wines, while country games will liven up the festival.
Among the activities are a treasure hunt in the hay, skill games, an obstacle course with wheelbarrows, laser rifle shooting, and the famous Cow Bingo. For children, there will be pony rides and an educational farm. The detailed program will be released by the Pro Loco in the weeks prior.

- From the afternoon (around 2:30 PM) — market of typical products and crafts with over 30 stalls (mountain cheeses, cured meats, jams, cakes, honey, Bergamasco wines)
- Country games: treasure hunt in the hay, skill games, obstacle course with wheelbarrows
- Cow Bingo and laser rifle shooting
