The 2025 edition of the festival

The 52nd Sagra de lo Ciammaruchiello took place on August 13th and 14th, 2025, in Piazza Garibaldi, in Buonalbergo, in the Benevento Sannio. Also in 2025, the Pro Loco of Buonalbergo built the event around the village's signature dish: small land snails gathered in the local countryside and cooked in sauce with the territory's spontaneous aromatic herb.

The menu for the two evenings offered, in addition to ciammarruchielli, handmade fusilli and cecatielli, rustic sandwiches, traditional fried foods, and montanara, the fried pizza topped with tomato, fiordilatte, parmesan, and basil. All products used came from the territory, according to the locally sourced philosophy that earned the festival the 'Sagra di Qualità' mark from UNPLI.

The two evenings, presented by the organizers as 'two days of taste and tradition', were enlivened by live music in the square, with free admission and the usual participation of the entire community: a model of a village festival that the local Sannio press described as one of the longest-running festivals in Campania.
