Edition 2025 — Sagne Strasciate Festival
The 2025 edition
In 2025, the Pro Loco of Paganico Sabino renewed the late July appointment with the Sagne Strasciate Festival, maintaining the traditional structure of the day: opening of the cultural tour in the village in the morning, with the churches of San Nicola and Annunziata and the museum of memory, and lunch served from 12:30 PM under the covered structures of the Centro Diurno.
The signature dish — the water, flour, and egg dough torn by hand and seasoned with porcini mushroom sauce — was accompanied as always by porchetta, homemade bread, and local red wine. In the afternoon, stalls selling Sabina specialties and handicrafts enlivened the streets of the historic center, while the evening closed with grilled arrosticini, beer, and live music. The plastic-free formula and the free shuttle from the parking lots below were also confirmed, allowing the small village in the municipality of Paganico Sabino, in Lazio, to welcome thousands of visitors every year.
