The Ruginello Run is the non-competitive race that starts from the hamlet of Ruginello, in Vimercate in the province of Monza and Brianza. On dirt roads, fields and paths between Ruginello and Vimercate, it offers three routes of different lengths suitable for runners, walkers and families. A neighbourhood sports festival organized by local associations, starting at the Circolo San Giovanni Bosco.

The event offers three routes of different lengths, designed to welcome runners, walkers, and families. The start is from the Circolo San Giovanni Bosco, on via Diaz, in the heart of Ruginello. The registration fee is low, in line with the popular and accessible spirit of the event.

A festival organized by the neighbourhood

The race is organized by the Associazione Amici di Ruginello (Friends of Ruginello Association) together with ASD Robur Ruginello 1948, the same entities that animate the life of the neighbourhood throughout the year, from Carnival to social initiatives. The Ruginello Run is therefore much more than a race: it is a moment of community.

The 7th Ruginello Run takes place on Sunday, June 14, 2026, starting from the Circolo San Giovanni Bosco in Ruginello, Vimercate. Three routes of different lengths along dirt roads, fields, and paths between Ruginello and Vimercate, in a non-competitive race open to all, organized by the neighbourhood associations.

The 2026 edition of the Ruginello Run, the seventh, is scheduled for Sunday, June 14, 2026, starting from the Circolo San Giovanni Bosco on via Diaz in Ruginello (Vimercate). The non-competitive race offers three routes on dirt roads, fields, and paths and is organized by the Associazione Amici di Ruginello together with ASD Robur Ruginello 1948.
