The Roveleto Beer Festival is one of the most cherished events at the beginning of summer in the Municipality of Cadeo, in the province of Piacenza, in the heart of the Emilia-Romagna plain. It takes place at the Piazzale delle Feste (Ghizzoni Square), the equipped area of the Roveleto hamlet between Via Tadini and the school complex, and transforms the town into a large outdoor meeting point for several evenings.

A Tradition Revived

After a long break, the festival returned in 2024 thanks to the renewed Pro Loco of Roveleto, which brought back an event that had been awaited for over a decade. President Marco Vallisa called it "a festival that involves everyone, young and old," made possible by the work of numerous local volunteers. Since then, the event has been repeated every year, with an ever-growing audience coming not only from Cadeo but from the entire Piacenza area.

Beer, Gastronomy, and Music

The heart of the event is conviviality: the food stalls generally open from 7:00 PM and offer numerous types of beer along with Piacenza cuisine dishes and street food. Each evening is enlivened by live music, with DJ sets, cover bands, and tribute bands ranging from Italian and international rock to the repertoire of singer-songwriters.
