The city-wide festival of the future and innovation in the Capital
Rome Future Week is the Capital's first major city-wide event dedicated to the future and innovation. For an entire week, Rome transforms into an open-air laboratory: dozens of venues—coworking spaces, theaters, universities, tech hubs, incubators, and iconic city landmarks—host hundreds of events simultaneously. Launched in 2023 by SCAI Comunicazione, the festival has grown year after year to exceed 400 appointments and involve tens of thousands of participants, establishing itself as one of Italy's most important events on innovation.
The new edition will take place from September 21 to 27, 2026, and revolves around the concept of "Raw Material": a narrative key that invites reflection on what truly makes transformation possible—skills, relationships, knowledge, care, and the ability to design. Around this central theme, a program develops that ranges from artificial intelligence to cybersecurity, startups to education, art to sustainability, and space to the world of work.
The strength of Rome Future Week is its city-wide model: not a single stage, but a network of events distributed throughout the city, each organized by businesses, universities, institutions, media, and innovative entities sharing the same period. The schedule is organized into thematic Future Hubs—dedicated, among other things, to artificial intelligence, e-commerce, living, cinema, space, startups, and sustainability—which aggregate talks, workshops, exhibitions, and networking moments.
With the patronage and support of institutions such as Roma Capitale and the Lazio Region, Rome Future Week has become an identity-defining appointment for the Municipality of Rome and the entire region, capable of fostering dialogue between the Capital's entrepreneurial and cultural fabric and the major themes of digital and social transformation. Participation in most events is free, subject to registration for individual appointments published on the official program.
Whether it is to discover the latest frontiers of artificial intelligence, meet startups and innovators, attend a workshop on new skills, or simply immerse yourself in a week of ideas and connections, Rome Future Week offers a unique experience. It is an opportunity to experience Rome from an unprecedented perspective: that of a city looking ahead, putting the future at the center of its agenda for seven days.

Rome is easily accessible by train (Termini and Tiburtina stations), by plane (Fiumicino and Ciampino airports), and by car via the Grande Raccordo Anulare. To move between venues, we recommend using the metro network and ATAC public transport.
Participation in most events is free, but online registration for individual appointments via the official website is generally required.
