Roma Comic Off is the major event dedicated to comedy and "off" theatre in Rome. A city-wide theatre competition

The categories: Comedies and One (Wo)man Shows

The programme is divided into two main sections. Comedies feature ensemble productions and group performances, while One (Wo)man Shows focus on the individual performer, ranging from monologues and stand-up to cabaret. From its origins to today

Born in 2015 as Testaccio Comic Off with a small group of theatres, the festival has grown rapidly to reach a city-wide scale under its current name, Roma Comic Off. With each edition, the number of participating venues and competing shows has increased, cementing the event as a key reference point for theatrical comedy in Rome. In 2026, the festival celebrates its tenth anniversary.
