The city's widespread fashion event, from the center to the suburbs
For six days, from May 12 to 17, 2026, Rome Fashion Path turns Rome into a vast open-air stage dedicated to fashion. Rather than a single runway, it is a widespread event that weaves together dozens of locations across the city, from the historic center to the suburbs. Ateliers, historic boutiques, theatrical tailoring shops, academies, showrooms, art galleries, and independent spaces open their doors with a packed calendar of fashion shows, talks, presentations, and live performances. Now in its third edition, the festival confirms the formula that has made it a highly anticipated appointment in the capital: fashion told not just as aesthetics, but as a cultural, social, and collective gesture.
Promoted under the patronage of the Department for Major Events, Sport, Tourism and Fashion of Rome Capital, the event involves over 160 entities within the fashion system: designers, emerging and established brands, tailors, academies, photographers, personal shoppers, make-up artists, and artisans. The creative fabric of Rome and the Lazio region is showcased in its entirety, from major names in Roman tailoring like the historic Sartoria Farani to the new generation of independent designers.
The program is organized into five sections that guide visitors through the city:
The innovative heart of the festival is RFPU30, a format dedicated to creatives under 30, who present their work in exceptional spaces, galleries, and hotels within the Rome Art Week circuit. It acts as a bridge between fashion and contemporary art, providing visibility to emerging voices on the Roman and national scene.
The grand finale takes place on May 17 at the Caffè Letterario on Via Ostiense 95, in the Ostiense district. The collective fashion show Io sono, Noi siamo (I am, We are) brings together over thirty designers celebrating ethical, inclusive, and sustainable fashion in an event that blends tradition and modernity. All Rome Fashion Path appointments are free and open to the public.
The third edition of Rome Fashion Path, from May 12 to 17, 2026, involves over 160 entities from the fashion system in approximately 57 widespread events across the capital. The program is divided into the Showcase, Creator, Tracker, Maker, and Host sections, featuring protagonists ranging from the historic Sartoria Farani to academies like RUFA, as well as young emerging designers. The common thread of this edition is the encounter between tradition and modernity, with a strong focus on sustainability and inclusion.
From May 12 to 17, 2026, six days of widespread events throughout Rome.
A widespread event held in numerous locations across the city, from the historic center to the suburbs, with the closing event at the Caffè Letterario on Via Ostiense 95 (Ostiense district). The Ostiense district is served by the Roma Ostiense station and the Piramide stop (Metro B).
