Rome CocktailBar & Restaurant Week: The Capital of Taste

The Rome CocktailBar & Restaurant Week, known by the acronym RCRW, is the first widespread festival in Rome celebrating both cuisine and the art of mixology. Inspired by the well-known New York Restaurant Week, the event transforms the capital into a grand culinary itinerary for two weeks, inviting Romans and visitors to discover the city's best dining and drinking establishments. From internationally acclaimed cocktail bars to Michelin-starred restaurants, and from historic venues to the most exciting new openings—many housed in luxury hotels—the event showcases the vibrancy of the Roman gastronomic scene during the low season.

How it works

The RCRW involves a selection of restaurants, cocktail bars, hotel bars, and historic venues that offer the public special menus and dedicated packages: aperitifs, signature drinks, brunches, lunches, or dinners at prices more advantageous than their standard menus. There is no fixed price list: each venue creates its own bespoke RCRW offer. Participating venues

The first edition brings together around twenty of the city's most appreciated addresses, distributed across the iconic neighborhoods of Roman nightlife and dining:

• Cocktail bars and speakeasies: Drink Kong and Nite Kong, Freni e Frizioni, Argot Prati and Argot Campo, La Punta Expendio de Agave, Santa Cocktail Club, Emerald's Independent Bar, Wisdomless Club, Chorus Café, and Hey Baby Cocktail Bar;
• Restaurants and bistros: the historic trattoria Checchino Dal 1887 and Ch1887, Il Marchese, Oro Bistrot, Antela, Culto Trastevere;
• Terraces and hotel bars: AcquaRoof, Terrazza Monti at The Glam, and the Ruby Giulia Hotel Rome.

An event across Rome's neighborhoods

The event takes place in the heart of the Municipality of Rome, capital of the Lazio region, touching some of the city's most beloved districts: Trastevere, Campo de' Fiori, the Monti rione, the Prati district, and the Historic Center. This widespread format makes the RCRW a true urban itinerary, an opportunity to explore Rome through its bars and tables, combining the discovery of the city's heritage with the pleasure of conviviality.

First edition 2026

Launched in 2026 on the initiative of Bevi Italy and its founder Lauren Caramico, the Rome CocktailBar & Restaurant Week aims to support Roman hospitality during the low season and strengthen the network among industry professionals. A project that seeks to highlight the quality and creativity of the capital's venues, while offering the public a new and accessible way to experience dining and mixology in Rome.
