The international exhibition for museums, cultural sites, and destinations
The Ro.Me Museum Exhibition is the only international trade fair in Italy entirely dedicated to the world of museums, cultural sites, and destinations. Launched in 2018, it has quickly become the go-to professional platform for institutions, foundations, companies, and professionals who design, manage, and promote cultural heritage. Every November, the event transforms the Capital into a vibrant laboratory of ideas, networking, and innovation, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and Roma Capitale.
Ro.Me's formula blends a trade fair with a conference: over three days, dozens of panels, workshops, masterclasses, and B2B sessions connect supply and demand for services in the museum sector. The 2025 edition featured over fifty scheduled meetings, with approximately one hundred speakers and the participation of museums, universities, associations, and technology companies from Italy and abroad.
The debate revolves around the most pressing challenges in the cultural sector:
The choice of Rome, in the Lazio region, is no coincidence: no other city better embodies the relationship between historical heritage and contemporary life. The Municipality of Rome and the Lazio Region have long supported the event, which represents a valuable networking and professional development opportunity for the entire sector. The 2026 edition will be held at the Fiera di Roma, in the city's south-western quadrant, a spacious and well-connected venue capable of hosting stands, exhibition areas, and conference halls.
Primarily aimed at industry professionals, the Ro.Me Museum Exhibition is also open to students, researchers, and enthusiasts eager to discover the future trends of museums. It is the ideal place to learn about emerging technologies, forge collaborations, and reflect on the role of culture as a common good and a lever for territorial growth.
The 2026 edition of the Ro.Me Museum Exhibition will take place from November 11 to 13 at Fiera di Roma. The dates are confirmed by the official Fiera Roma calendar; the detailed program with speakers, times, and sessions will be published by the organizers in the weeks leading up to the event.
By train: Fiera di Roma is served by the dedicated "Fiera di Roma" railway station on the FL1 line (Orte-Fiumicino Airport), just minutes from the city center and Fiumicino Airport.
By car: Take the exit from the Grande Raccordo Anulare (GRA) towards Fiera di Roma; ample parking is available.
By plane: Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport is just a few kilometers away.
Access to the event is traditionally free upon mandatory online registration. Details and schedules for the 2026 edition will be published on the official website in the weeks leading up to the event.
