A Hamlet Festival in the Cremona Countryside
The Persichello Festival is the popular celebration of the small hamlet of Persichello, in the Municipality of Persico Dosimo, in the province of Cremona. It takes place between the end of August and the first days of September, following the nearby Dosimo Festival, with which it shares the organization entrusted to local associations and parishes, under the patronage of the Unione del Delmona.
The Heart of the Festival: Ghisleri Garden
The evenings are centered in the "Luigi Ghisleri" garden, which becomes the natural stage for the shows. In recent years, the program has alternated puppet shows for children, Cremonese dialect comedies, live music, and concerts, involving local associations such as Auser and Alveare OdV.
Tradition, Exhibitions, and Luna Park
Alongside the stage, the festival offers the municipal library's stall, hobbyist exhibitions, a Luna Park set up in the square, and the charity raffle at the kindergarten, a historic event deeply felt by families. It is a festival that maintains the slow, collective rhythm of the villages in the Bassa region, where the square once again becomes a place for intergenerational encounters.
A Piece of Delmona's Summer
Together with the Santa Colomba Festival of Dosimo, the Persichello Festival marks the calendar of summer festivals in the Municipality of Persico Dosimo, in the heart of the plain between Cremona and the river. An opportunity to discover an authentic corner of the Cremona province, far from the tourist circuits.
