On June 2, 2026, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Italian Republic, Agnone, in the province of Isernia, will host a civil ceremony with strong symbolic value. The event will open in Piazza Unità d'Italia with the institutional moment dedicated to the national anniversary.
Under the banner of the right to health
The day will continue with a procession to the San Francesco Caracciolo Hospital, in support of public healthcare in Alto Molise, a particularly sensitive issue in an inland and mountainous area. The initiative, promoted by the Municipality of Agnone and the civic committee "Il Cittadino c'è", thus links the celebration of the Republic with the concrete commitment of the community for its rights.

The 2026 edition, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Republic, took place in Agnone on June 2. The ceremony in Piazza Unità d'Italia, at 7:00 PM, was followed by a procession to the San Francesco Caracciolo Hospital to reaffirm the importance of public healthcare in Alto Molise. The initiative was promoted by the municipal administration led by Mayor Daniele Saia, together with the civic committee "Il Cittadino c'è".
