A historic fair on Lake Garda

There are events that are part of a territory's identity. The Regional Agricultural, Artisanal, and Commercial Fair of Lonato del Garda, in the province of Brescia, is one of them: for over sixty years, in mid-January, it has occupied the entire historic center of the town, from Corso Garibaldi to Viale Roma, transforming it into a large showcase of products and crafts. In 2026, the fair reaches its 68th edition, scheduled from January 16 to 18.

Agriculture, crafts, commerce

The heart of the fair is the connection with the land and the productive activities of the territory: agricultural machinery, equipment, local craft products, and commercial stalls are spread throughout the streets of the center. A tradition that has its roots in the rural vocation of the lower Brescia Garda area and continues to attract exhibitors and visitors from all over the province.

Not just exhibitions

Alongside the exhibitions, the fair offers a series of collateral events. Among these is the Gran Galà at the Palazzetto dello Sport (January 10), which ideally opens the event, and the official inauguration on Saturday, January 17, at 10 a.m. at the Viale Roma roundabout. The fair is also traditionally accompanied by gastronomic initiatives that enhance the flavors of the territory.

A community event

Organized by a special Committee together with the Municipality of Lonato del Garda, the Regional Fair is much more than a commercial event: it is a moment of gathering for the community of Lonato and the municipalities of the Brescia Garda area, capable of animating the town in the heart of winter and renewing an ancient bond between the town and its agricultural tradition every year.
