Culture as a driver of rebirth
The RadicalMente Festival is the literary review held in Castel del Giudice, a village in Alto Molise (province of Isernia), dedicated to thought and culture as tools for regenerating inland areas. For two days in September, the Borgotufi 'albergo diffuso' transforms into a true literary village.
Guests and encounters
The festival brings nationally renowned writers, journalists, and intellectuals to this small Molise village. Recent editions have featured, among others, Walter Veltroni, Emilio Casalini, Giuseppe Cerasa, Giorgio Dell'Arti, Alessandra Macchitella, and Lauretta Colonnelli, under the artistic direction of Luciana Petrocelli.
Not just encounters
Alongside the author events, RadicalMente offers creative workshops—from writing musical stories to designing illustrated tales, and literary face painting—as well as artisan crafts and literary dinners in the spaces of Borgotufi. The event is promoted by the Centro Studi Casa Frezza in collaboration with the Municipality of Castel del Giudice, the Pro Loco "G. Caldora", the Ministry of Culture, Borgotufi, and the Società Dante Alighieri.

The RadicalMente Festival is expected again in September 2026 in Castel del Giudice, in the spaces of the Borgotufi 'albergo diffuso'. Maintaining the literary village concept, the event offers meetings with authors, creative workshops, artisan crafts, and literary dinners, with free admission and booking recommended.
