A festival that speaks of roots

The name says it all: Radica Fest – Festival del Risveglio e del Ritorno (Festival of Awakening and Return). In Corleto Perticara, a village in the Potentino hinterland, the Iperuranio association has created an event that focuses on the theme of roots, the return to one's land, and the awakening of the inland communities of Basilicata.

In an area marked by depopulation and emigration, talking about "awakening" and "return" is not a rhetorical exercise but a precise cultural choice: the festival aims to be a call for those who have left and an opportunity for life for those who have stayed, using music and culture as a unifying force.

Music, tributes, and cross-pollination

Iperuranio's hallmark is the dialogue between genres and languages. The Corleto association is known for its tribute evenings to the greats of singer-songwriting – including a tribute to Pino Daniele that blended blues, jazz, and Neapolitan tradition – and for a program that mixes concerts, storytelling, and participation. Radica Fest gathers and expands this spirit in a summer event.
