Prisma Summer Festival

A popular festival at the foot of the village of Sermoneta

The Prisma Summer Festival is the major musical event of the summer in Sermoneta, a medieval village in the province of Latina, in the Pontine Lazio region. The event takes place at the Monticchio market area, the town's lowland district, which is transformed for the occasion into a true music and entertainment village complete with a stage, seating, and a large dining area. The festival is the most anticipated moment of the Sermoneta Summer Events, the program promoted by the municipal administration that offers about fifty events between July and September, including concerts, theater, folklore, and food and wine.

The 2026 program: from Max Giusti to Fred De Palma

The 2026 edition, scheduled from Thursday, July 30 to Sunday, August 2, alternates comedy, DJ sets, and big names in Italian pop and urban music:

• Thursday, July 30 — Max Giusti opens the festival with the show Bollicine, accompanied by his band; hosted by Franco Iannizzi.
• Friday, July 31 — The Night of the DJs – Aperol Spritz with Radio Dimensione Suono Roma: featuring Andrea Damante and Usai on the decks.
• Saturday, August 1 — The highlight evening with a concert by Fred De Palma and live shows by LDA and Aka Seven, blending rap, reggaeton, and pop.
• Sunday, August 2 — Grand finale with I want to go back to the nineties, the party dedicated to the decade's greatest hits.

The food & beverage village

Every evening, starting at 6 PM, the festival's food & beverage area opens: food stalls and refreshment points welcome the public before and after the shows, following a formula that combines live music and conviviality, which has made the Monticchio market area the meeting point for summer evenings in the Pontine area. Admission to the evenings is free, in keeping with the tradition of major summer events in Sermoneta.

A consolidated summer tradition

The Monticchio market area has hosted major local popular events for years: as early as 2022, the Sermoneta Summer Fest brought guests like The Kolors and Sud Sound System there, inaugurating a format of free evenings with live music and a food village. The Prisma Summer Festival picks up and relaunches this legacy, focusing on nationally renowned names and a program designed for all generations, from families to young people.

Sermoneta, a village to discover

The festival is also an opportunity to visit Sermoneta, one of the most beautiful villages in Lazio: the historic center perched on the Lepini Mountains houses the Caetani Castle, the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, and perfectly preserved medieval alleys, while the Garden of Ninfa and the Valvisciolo Abbey are just a few kilometers away. Between one concert and another, the Lazio Region thus offers a unique combination of music, history, and landscape.
