The Pozzo festival in May
The Pozzo Festival is one of the most anticipated events in the Pozzo hamlet of San Giovanni Lupatoto, a municipality on the outskirts of Verona. For six days, Piazza del Giubileo transforms into the heart of the festival, with food stands, shows, and plenty of live music organized by the Pozzo parish.
Music, sports, and fun for everyone
Every evening, the festival features a different band or orchestra, alternating between tribute acts, Latin American music, and dance music. There are also sporting events, with tournaments for baskin and youth basketball, and entertainment for the little ones provided by Circotutù. Among the most traditional moments is the greased pole climb.
A community celebration
Promoted by the Pozzo parish, the festival is a focal point for the community of the hamlet and the entire San Giovanni Lupatoto area, in the province of Verona. Good food, sports, and music intertwine in a popular celebration that attracts a large audience every year.
Pozzo Festival — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Pozzo Festival enlivened Piazza del Giubileo from May 21 to 26, in the Pozzo hamlet of San Giovanni Lupatoto. Six evenings of live music, sports, and gastronomy organized by the parish, with a different orchestra or band each night, youth baskin and basketball tournaments, Circotutù entertainment, and the traditional greased pole climb.

How to get there
The festival takes place in Piazza del Giubileo, in the Pozzo hamlet of San Giovanni Lupatoto (VR), on the outskirts of Verona. It can be reached by car from the Verona ring road and from the A4 motorway exits.
