A festival that dismantles prejudice
In Rovato, a town in Franciacorta in the province of Brescia, Pour Parler – The Festival of Commonplaces returns every early summer. This event has chosen an idea that is as simple as it is ambitious: to take the commonplaces, stereotypes, and taboos of our time and turn them upside down, transforming them into opportunities for intelligent discussion. Born in 2022 from the hosts of "Off Topic – Fuori dai luoghi comuni", the Radio 24 program, the festival has grown edition after edition to become one of the most followed cultural events in the Sebino and Franciacorta area.
Satire, education, and current affairs
The formula blends different registers: the comedy of the Lercio editorial team, scientific and social dissemination, current affairs told with irony, book presentations, and musical interviews. It discusses linguistic stereotypes, health, the environment, relationships, and social prejudices, always with a light but never superficial approach. The heart of the event is Piazza Cavour, where the main stage is set up under the historic arcades, while some meetings take place at Libreria Vantiniana.
A free and widespread event
All Pour Parler events have free admission: this is a precise choice by the organizers, who want a popular and accessible festival, capable of bringing families, young people, and the curious into the square. Over the years, the event has managed to expand its boundaries beyond the center of Rovato, with events also reaching Lake Iseo, in continuous dialogue between the town and its territory.

Hosting a festival like Pour Parler also means enhancing Rovato, a historic hub between Brescia and Lake Iseo, famous for its livestock market and the tradition of Manzo all'Olio De.Co. Pour Parler — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Pour Parler, the fifth, takes place in Rovato from June 4th to 7th, 2026. The main stage is in Piazza Cavour, under the historic arcades, with four days of meetings, shows, musical interviews, and book presentations. The event confirms its formula that blends education, comedy, music, current affairs, and entertainment, with events running from afternoon into the evening and initiatives spread beyond the town center.

Among the announced protagonists of this edition are Lercio, singer Alexia, lawyer and activist Cathy La Torre, priest and educator Alberto Ravagnani, creator Sabina Reghellin (Sabwayroll), Chimicazza, and Paolo Borzacchiello.
