About Cinema Under the Stars
Open-Air Cinema in Artistic Locations
Cinema Under the Stars is the film section of PostoUnico, the distributed festival of Lonigo (province of Vicenza). Curated by Cinemambulante, it offers a series of open-air screenings hosted in villas, courtyards, convents, and historic sites in Lonigo and its hamlets.
A Themed Cinema Experience
Each evening is dedicated to a theme related to an art form — painting, photography, music, dance, architecture, poetry, theatre, and cinema — with a film chosen to dialogue with the location hosting it. The screenings move from Villa Mugna to Villa San Fermo, from the San Daniele Convent to Villa Pisani Bonetti, discovering often little-known corners of the Lonigo area.
Under the Summer Sky
The screenings, with free admission, take place on summer evenings, starting late at night. The itinerant format simultaneously highlights great auteur cinema and the heritage of villas and residences in the lower Vicenza area, in a series that has found a loyal audience.
Cinema Under the Stars — edition 2026
For 2026, Cinema Under the Stars offers eight themed screenings from June 28 to August 16, each evening in a different location in the Lonigo area. The series, curated by Cinemambulante as part of PostoUnico, pairs each film with an art form (painting, photography, music, dance, architecture, poetry, theatre, cinema), starting at 9:15 PM with free admission.

- August 2 — "A Room with a View", Monticello di Lonigo
- August 9 — "Shakespeare in Love", Villa Pisani Bonetti, Bagnolo di Lonigo
