About Porko Rock
Thirty-five years of counter-current music
The Porko Rock Music Festival in Piombino Dese, in the province of Padua, is one of the longest-standing and most distinctive realities of the Venetian independent music scene. Founded in 1991, it has grown to become an eagerly awaited event for the entire region, remaining true to its original mission: to offer a stage to artists who propose their own music, far from commercial logic.
A 360-degree alternative scene
The festival is not tied to a single genre but embraces all facets of the contemporary scene: nu-metal, hardcore, heavy metal, punk, garage rock, shoegaze, and folk and Latin-rock contaminations. Bands, mostly from Veneto, and DJ sets take turns on stage, with collaborations with local labels and collectives such as GoDown Records, Shyrec, Bloop, and Trivel Collective.
Free entry and community spirit
All evenings have free admission: Porko Rock thrives on the work of volunteers and the sense of community that has animated it for decades. Every evening, the bar and food service open, offering sandwiches, burgers, traditional dishes, craft beers, cocktails, and group specialties. The festival takes place in the train station parking lot, in Piazzale Sanmicheli, easily accessible by train.
Porko Rock — edition 2026
In 2026, the Porko Rock Music Festival reaches its 35th edition, celebrating thirty-five years of independent music in Piombino Dese. From May 28 to June 2, six free-entry evenings will liven up the train station square with sixteen live bands and a long series of DJ sets.
The lineup spans all facets of the contemporary alternative scene, with bands mostly from Veneto joined by local collectives and labels (GoDown Records, Shyrec, Bloop, Trivel Collective). Every evening, the bar and kitchen open at 7:00 PM, while concerts start at 9:15 PM.

How to get here
The festival is held in the parking lot of the Piombino Dese train station (Piazzale Sanmicheli), served by the Venice–Bassano line. By car, it can be reached from the SR308 Nuova del Santo.
Times and admission
Gates open at 7:00 PM, concerts start at 9:15 PM. Free admission to all evenings. Bar and kitchen open from 7:00 PM.
