Food and wine, art, and the territory of Western Friuli
There's a way to truly get to know Western Friuli: taste it, explore it, live it. This is what Pordenone Art and Food offers, the event that intertwines the pleasure of food with the art, landscape, and culture of the region. For about twelve days, between late April and early May, over a hundred events animate Pordenone and the province's municipalities with a single common thread: the link between what we eat and who we are.
Tastings of wines and typical products, shows, cultural meetings, sports events, and entertainment moments make up a rich program, designed to tell the story of Western Friuli in all its nuances. The strength of the event lies precisely in its widespread nature: not a single location, but a network of venues that invites the public to move between cities, wineries, historic palaces, and villages.
Among the most evocative venues is the Serra dei Limoni of Palazzo Burovich de Zmajevich in Casarsa della Delizia, recently restored, where the festival's preview traditionally links to the historic Wine Festival. An itinerary that also touches Casa Colussi Pasolini and the church of Santa Croce, intertwining taste with the cultural memory of the places.
Promoted by TEF โ Territorio Economia Futuro (Territory Economy Future), a company within the Pordenone-Udine Chamber of Commerce system, in collaboration with municipalities and local tourism boards, Pordenone Art and Food is today one of the events that best showcases the food and wine and cultural vocation of Western Friuli, on a path that also accompanies Pordenone towards Italian Capital of Culture 2027.
The seventh edition of Pordenone Art and Food confirms the widespread format that has made the event famous: twelve days and over a hundred events in Pordenone and the province's municipalities. The Serra dei Limoni of Palazzo Burovich in Casarsa della Delizia returns as a venue, the heart of the preview on April 29 linked to the 78th Wine Festival.
The event offers over 110 events spread over twelve days. Among the announced events:
