Forty years of popular festival with music, food, and friendship
The Cascine Festival in Pont-Saint-Martin is a popular festival born in 1984 from the desire of a group of friends to "share something beautiful". For forty years, it has enlivened the town in the Lower Aosta Valley, with only two interruptions in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic. Today, it is organized by over 70 volunteers from the Cascine Festival Committee (Co.Fe.Ca), who preserve its original spirit, uniting different generations.
The program alternates evenings of live music with bands and dance orchestras, food stands, card games, and moments of socializing. Traditional competitions, such as the Morra game, and a mountain race, the PSM Go Cascine Edition, are also featured, combining sport and celebration in one of the most cherished events of the Aosta Valley summer.
More than just an event, the Cascine Festival is a collective ritual that annually brings together the inhabitants of Pont-Saint-Martin and neighboring towns. Admission is free, and the atmosphere is that of authentic village festivals in the Aosta Valley, where conviviality, volunteerism, and the desire to be together are the true protagonists.
To celebrate its 40th anniversary, the festival has expanded from four to six evenings of dancing, with a new Co.Fe.Ca logo and a special closing evening. A way to pay homage to four decades of history, friendship, and commitment.
The 2026 edition of the Cascine Festival celebrates the 40th anniversary of the event in Pont-Saint-Martin, from May 13 to 17 with a closing evening on May 23. For the occasion, the dance evenings increase from four to six, accompanied by a new Co.Fe.Ca logo.
