Polpette in Festival

The seventh edition of Polpette in Festival was held from June 12th to 15th, 2025, in Piazza Immacolata, San Gregorio di Catania, every evening from 6:00 PM until midnight, under the theme "the queens of culinary recycling."

The program alternated between taste and culture: Thursday the 12th featured an inauguration with local authorities, a craft beer tasting (BeerSicilia), a talk on the Mediterranean Diet, and a concert by ColorIndaco; Friday the 13th focused on Sicilian viticulture with Tenute Nicosia, a "Like a Polpetta" talk on food communication, and a concert by the band Mumbless; Saturday the 14th included "Bread and Bubbles" tastings and a "Good to the last crumb" session on zero-waste cooking, with a tribute concert to Franco Battiato by Fabio Abate; Sunday the 15th featured a children's workshop "Polpettando si impara" with chef Marco Cannizzaro, a talk on Sicilian agriculture, and a concert by the Brigantini. The event, with free admission, was organized by the Municipality of San Gregorio di Catania with Scirocco Mediterranean Creative Lab.
