Polentonissimo Festival

In 2025, the Polentonissimo of Monastero Bormida brought the village to life from Saturday, March 8 to Monday, March 10, with Sunday, March 9 as the highlight. From 8 a.m., the cooking of the onion and sausage omelet began, followed by the market of typical products and the cooking of the polentone in Piazza del Castello.

The afternoon was marked by the Arts and Crafts Tour, performances by folk groups, and the historical pageant with over a hundred participants. The most anticipated moment, the Scodellamento, took place at 16:30, when the Marchese del Carretto solemnly proclaimed the polenta ready to be served. The festival concluded with the traditional Monday Polentino on March 10.
