Edition 2025 — Sant'Antonio Polenta Feast
The 2025 Saint Anthony polenta feast in Supino
The 2025 edition of the Polenta and Sausage Festival took place according to the unchanged ritual that has characterized the Supino celebrations in honor of Saint Anthony the Abbot since 1911. In Piazza San Nicola, in the historic center of the Lepini village in the province of Frosinone, volunteers and the Pro Loco lit the fires from the morning to cook about two hundred kilograms of yellow cornmeal in the traditional copper cauldrons arranged in a circle.
After the noon blessing, the steaming polenta was distributed to all those present, seasoned with sauce and accompanied by sausage, along with the corn panicella. A moment of popular celebration that every winter brings together the community of Supino and opens the calendar of Ciociaria celebrations dedicated to the patron saint of animals and the farming world.
