Polenta and Barbecue Festival (Almdorf Haidenberg, S. Stefano)

The 2025 edition of the Polenta and Barbecue Festival was held at Almdorf Haidenberg, the alpine hut at 1,354 meters above Santo Stefano, a hamlet of San Lorenzo di Sebato in the Puster Valley.

The event took place every Friday and Sunday from July 6 to August 31, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM. On the panoramic terrace, overlooking Brunico and Plan de Corones, guests were served polenta and mushrooms, barbecue specialties, and homemade strudel, with no reservation required. A classic of the South Tyrolean summer culinary scene that reaffirmed the region's strong bond with alpine hut cuisine.
