Art and poetry meet for the first time amidst the Art Nouveau frescoes of Villa Cipelli
For the first time, the historic Villa Cipelli, in the hamlet of Madonna Cinque Vie in Fiorenzuola d'Arda (Province of Piacenza, Emilia-Romagna), opens its doors to the public to host POESIS, an exhibition that brings together art and poetry in an unprecedented creative fusion. Amidst the Art Nouveau frescoes, the period furniture of the residence, and the beauty of its park, poets and artists meet in a dialogue where words become form and figures find a voice.
The exhibition aims to show how artists and poets are guided, in the act of creation, by a single profound and authentic ideal: an ideal of beauty, love, consciousness, and above all, Transcendence, the innate need to go beyond. The link between poetry and art is thus revealed as indissoluble, and each work becomes an invitation to read beyond the surface.
The exhibition features works by Thomas Arcari, Luigi Bonora, Marina Burani, ERRESULLALUNA, Notawonderboy, Tiziana Anna Paffile, Andrea Saltini, Andrea Vettori, and Gianluigi Zoncati. The installation is curated by Andrea Saltini and Marina Burani, who have conceived a close dialogue between the frescoed rooms and the contemporary works.
Villa Cipelli is an Art Nouveau residence that, until today, remained closed to the general public. With POESIS, it opens its spaces for the first time, offering visitors not only an exhibition but also the opportunity to discover a place steeped in history and charm, immersed in the greenery of its park. An experience that combines the discovery of Fiorenzuola's architectural heritage with the contemporary artistic and poetic scene.
The exhibition runs from May 29 to June 28, 2026, open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Admission is free. The opening, on Friday, May 29 at 6:30 PM, will be enhanced by live music and performances.
