The Pride of Pilsner
Pils Pride is the festival that Birrificio Italiano, a historic brewery based in Lurago Marinone in the province of Como, dedicates to artisanal Pilsners. The name is a manifesto: to proudly claim the nobility of pilsner, the pale lager that, behind an apparent simplicity, hides one of the most difficult technical challenges for any master brewer.

The event features the best "characterful" Italian and international pilsners, alongside a "guests" area dedicated to specialties from friendly breweries worldwide and exclusive collaborations. Alongside the taps, you'll find street food, a cocktail area with Birrificio Italiano spirits, and a musical program designed to accompany the outdoor evenings.
A Brewery That Made History
Birrificio Italiano, founded in 1996 by Agostino Arioli, is one of the pillars of the national craft brewing movement. Its "Tipopils" is considered an absolute benchmark for the style in Italy. Pils Pride was created precisely to celebrate this vocation, becoming over the years an anticipated event for enthusiasts, industry professionals, and the simply curious, in an atmosphere of celebration and beer culture.
Between Lurago Marinone and Lomazzo
While the production heart remains in Lurago Marinone, the event takes place in spaces capable of hosting large audiences, such as the Area Feste in Lomazzo. Guided tastings with the brewer and in-depth sessions complete an experience that makes the province of Como a small capital of Italian craft beer.
Pils Pride — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Pils Pride is held from June 5th to 7th at the Area Feste in Lomazzo (via Cavour 2), in the province of Como, as part of the Birrificio Italiano Festival celebrating the brewery's 30th anniversary, founded in 1996. Three days of music, outdoor entertainment, street food, and beer, with over 50 references on tap from around the world, the Pils Pride area featuring the best characterful pilsners, an "guests" area with friendly breweries (including Mikkeller, Dogfish Head, Omnipollo, Siren, and To Øl), exclusive collaborations, and a cocktail area with Birrificio Italiano spirits. The Amber Shock also returns in its "original recipe".
