Pictures of You – Interactive Photography Exhibition

When Rock Photography Meets Augmented Reality

Pictures of You is an interactive photography exhibition arriving in Pieve di Cento, in the Province of Bologna, from May 21 to July 26, 2026. The project, conceived by photographer Henry Ruggeri and produced by Rebel House with Chiara Buratti, transforms the halls of the Graziano Campanini Civic Art Gallery, set up in the spaces of Le Scuole in Via Marco Rizzoli, into a journey into great international music.

Over 40 Shots That Come to Life

The heart of the exhibition is a selection of over forty photographs with which Ruggeri has immortalized some of the greatest rock and pop icons in the world: from Pearl Jam to Foo Fighters, from the Rolling Stones to the Ramones, up to Billie Eilish. However, this is not a traditional exhibition: each image can be framed with a smartphone via the Notaway application, which activates exclusive video content in augmented reality. The narrator is the journalist Massimo Cotto, a historic writer for Virgin Radio, whose anecdotes and stories provide the context and emotion of each shot.

Encounters on the SILLA Stage

For over two months, the external courtyard of the Art Gallery is transformed into the SILLA Stage, a platform for talks, discussions, and showcases featuring protagonists from the Italian and international music scene. Among the announced events:

• May 29 – talk with guitarist and producer Massimo Varini and guided tour with Henry Ruggeri;
• June 12 – Mauro Ermanno Giovanardi presents "Pillole dal Chelsea Hotel";
• June 19 – Marky Ramone celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Ramones' debut;
• July 4 – exclusive showcase by Bandabardò with Chiara Buratti.

A Cultural Event for the Territory

The initiative enjoys the patronage of the Municipality of Pieve di Cento and the Reno Galliera Union, with the support of the Cassa di Risparmio di Cento Foundation. As part of Emilia-Romagna's rich cultural landscape, Pictures of You confirms Pieve di Cento's vocation, a small art village in the Bolognese plain nicknamed "Little Bologna," as a vibrant center for contemporary artistic proposals. Admission to the exhibition is completely free.
