Piazze del Gusto

The fourth edition of Piazze del Gusto was held in Linguaglossa from October 24 to 26, 2025, enlivening the squares of the historic center of this Etnean town in the province of Catania.

The program opened on Friday the 24th with the conference "Towards the Etna DOCG, between climate change and resilient varieties" and the presentation of the "Ambassadors of Taste" award. Saturday the 25th featured food and wine stands from the afternoon until night, a show cooking event with chefs of the caliber of Giovanni Santoro (Shalai, Michelin star), a concert by Qbeta, and a DJ set. Sunday the 26th offered walks through the vineyards, children's entertainment, the creation of a giant hazelnut cake, a performance by the Casa Normanna flag-wavers, and a concert by the Angel's Band with Giuseppe Castiglia.

The squares hosted wines and oils in Piazza Matrice, hazelnuts, sweets, and sausage in Piazza della Madonnina della Pineta, gastronomy in Piano degli Agostini, and liqueurs in Piazza Santo Calì. The event, promoted by the Municipality of Linguaglossa with Mayor Luca Stagnitta, reaffirmed the town's connection to the agricultural excellence of the northern slopes of Mount Etna.
