The Piazza Spagna Fair has its roots in a 19th-century fair tradition and represents the quintessential summer event of Casalmaggiore, a city in the Province of Cremona overlooking the Po River, bordering Emilia. Behind the organization is the work of the Pro Loco of Casalmaggiore, with the support of the municipal administration. It is thanks to the volunteers that, year after year, the fair continues to renew itself while keeping alive a tradition deeply rooted in the city's identity.
