Piano City Milano - Area Mameli

Niguarda plays the piano

As part of the distributed festival Piano City Milano, the Area Mameli in Niguarda (Municipality 9, Milan) hosts a special event: a Piano Street Party in the pedestrian square in front of the former Mameli Barracks construction site, a space undergoing urban regeneration and increasingly open to the neighborhood and the city. At viale Suzzani 96-98, piano music becomes an occasion for community celebration.

Three concerts, a whole day

The program runs from noon to evening with three concerts: at 12:00 PM Arturo Stàlteri with "The Peace Concert", at 4:00 PM Edoardo Vilella, and at 6:30 PM Marco Bottazzi with "Genesis in un piano". A proposal that blends different repertoires and styles, from intimate piano pieces to reinterpretations of great rock classics.

Not just music

Accompanying the concerts are a vintage market curated by Remira Market and catering services organized by local businesses. The idea is to experience Area Mameli as an open space, where music intertwines with neighborhood life.

Inside Piano City Milano

This event is part of the Piano City Milano 2026 program (May 15-17), the festival promoted by the Piano City Milano Association together with the Municipality of Milan (Province of Milan, Lombardy), which for three days fills the city with over 250 free piano concerts in more than 140 locations.
