The great creative fair dedicated to LEGO® constructions in Piacenza Expo
Every autumn, Piace Mattoncini attracts thousands of LEGO® construction enthusiasts to Piacenza, in Emilia-Romagna. The event takes place in the large pavilions of Piacenza Expo, the city's exhibition center in Le Mose, and has quickly established itself as one of the most important brick-themed events in Northern Italy, with a constantly growing audience that has exceeded twelve thousand visitors.
The fair is conceived and organized by the Associazione Piacenza Bricks, the officially recognized LEGO® User Group (LUG) based in Piacenza, in collaboration with Piacenza Expo. The group brings together builders and collectors united by their passion for bricks and curates the setup of the large dioramas that are the heart of the event each year.
The real attraction of Piace Mattoncini are the large-scale dioramas created by the exhibitors: reconstructions of the worlds of Harry Potter, Star Wars, Disney, Marvel, and DC, animated cities with high-speed trains, stations, airports, squares, and miniature gardens. There are also original creations (MOC, My Own Creation), a LEGO® Technic area with an active construction site, and, thanks to the collaboration with the Ferrari Club Piacenza, the Prancing Horse cars displayed next to models rebuilt with bricks.
The event is designed for the whole family: dedicated play areas with classic bricks and LEGO® DUPLO, creative workshops, and fun timed challenges, such as remote-controlled car races, are available for the little ones. About ten commercial activities also allow you to purchase hard-to-find sets, minifigures, and bricks, making the fair an unmissable opportunity for collectors as well.
Included in the calendar of the Municipality of Piacenza and the exhibition program of Piacenza Expo, Piace Mattoncini is now a well-established tradition of the city's autumn, capable of combining entertainment, creativity, and intergenerational fun in the name of the famous Danish bricks.
The 2026 edition of Piace Mattoncini is scheduled for November 28 and 29, 2026, at Piacenza Expo, located at Via Tirotti 11. The date is confirmed by the official exhibition calendar of Piacenza Expo.
As per tradition, the event organized by the Piacenza Bricks Association will feature large themed dioramas, original creations (MOCs), play areas for children, creative workshops, and commercial activities for purchasing collectible sets and bricks.
The detailed program for the 2026 edition will be published by the organization closer to the event.
