Christmas in the City of the Violin

Armonie di Natale is the program of events that accompanies the Christmas season in Cremona, the famous city of the violin. From late November until January 6th, the historic center transforms into a large festive village, with lights, decorations, markets, nativity scenes, and shows designed for the whole family, in an atmosphere that combines the magic of Christmas with the charm of one of Lombardy's most beautiful art cities.

The Tree, the Lights, and the Ice Rink

The scenic heart of the event is the large 17-meter-high illuminated Christmas tree, set up in Piazza del Comune, the lighting of which officially kicks off the festivities. Among the attractions is the ice rink at CremonaPo, with a small Christmas market, while the city streets fill with lights and initiatives.

Markets, Nativity Scenes, and Shows

The Sunday markets "Le Quattro Stagioni di Cremona" offer Christmas-themed displays and initiatives, alongside specialized markets and an area dedicated to hobbyists. Numerous nativity scenes are scattered throughout the city—from the Sala dei Decurioni of Palazzo Comunale to the large laser nativity scene under the portico of Palazzo Cittanova—while band performances, choirs, carousels, and activities for children animate the entire period.

Promoted by the Distretto Urbano del Commercio with the Municipality of Cremona, Armonie di Natale is the event that each year envelops the city in a festive atmosphere. Amidst the lights of Piazza del Comune and the scents of the markets, it's the perfect opportunity to discover Cremona in its most evocative period, between art, tradition, and fun.
