About Persica Fest

Persica Fest is the neighbourhood festival that brings Ponte Persica, on the outskirts of Castellammare di Stabia near the border with Pompeii, to life every September. Launched in 2024 by the Quartiere Attivo association, it blends live music, comedy, and performances with a rich festival of ancient flavours, featuring food stalls serving traditional Stabian dishes. The event is free to attend and has a strong charitable spirit: proceeds are donated to the local community and regional hospitals.

Persica Fest: the neighbourhood comes alive

Persica Fest, subtitled the Festival of Flavours and Tradition, is a popular event held in the Ponte Persica neighbourhood, on the eastern outskirts of Castellammare di Stabia, in the Province of Naples and the heart of Campania, right on the border with Pompeii. Established in 2024 by the Quartiere Attivo association, the event brings together families, residents, and visitors every year for evenings dedicated to great food, music, and community spirit.

A festival of ancient flavours

The gastronomic heart of the festival is the Festival of Ancient Flavours: stalls are set up along the neighbourhood streets, offering traditional Stabian and Campanian dishes prepared with fresh, authentic ingredients. It is the perfect opportunity to rediscover the region's genuine flavours in a simple, convivial atmosphere where food becomes a way to bring people together.

Music, comedy, and entertainment

Each evening kicks off with a presentation on the history and origins of Ponte Persica, followed by concerts, folk music, and comedy shows. Previous editions have featured live bands, traditional Neapolitan artists, and well-known local comedians, alongside entertainment for all ages. There is also a dedicated space for children, with a play area set up near the Luigi Denza comprehensive school.

A festival with a heart of gold

Persica Fest is more than just a party: since its very first edition, the event has had a strong charitable focus. Funds raised during the evenings are donated to local causes, such as hospital wards in the Stabia and Sarno areas and local parish projects. This community spirit is what sets Persica Fest apart and makes it a cherished event for the entire neighbourhood.

A late-summer highlight

Taking place in September, the festival symbolically marks the end of summer in Castellammare di Stabia, transforming the streets of Ponte Persica into a large open-air gathering space. For those visiting the Stabian coast and the Pompeii area, Persica Fest offers an authentic chance to experience the most genuine and popular side of Campania.

Persica Fest — edition 2026

The 2026 edition of Persica Fest in Ponte Persica has not yet been officially announced. Based on previous editions, the festival is expected to return in September to Castellammare di Stabia with its festival of ancient flavours, live music, and signature charitable spirit.

At the moment, the organizers have not yet released the official dates and programme for the 2026 edition of Persica Fest. Given the timing of the first two editions, both held in September in the Ponte Persica neighbourhood, a new edition is likely during the same period. The detailed programme, including concerts, shows, and food stalls, will be published by the Quartiere Attivo association in the weeks leading up to the event.

Programme Persica Fest 2026

Programme for the 2026 edition has not yet been published. As in previous editions, several evenings in September are expected, featuring live music, comedy shows, a historical presentation of the neighbourhood, and the festival of ancient flavours with food stalls. Official information will be released by the Quartiere Attivo association closer to the event.
