Music, art and nature under the stars at Colle San Bernardo in Lumezzane
The Perseidi Festival is an event that brings music, art and nature to Colle San Bernardo in Lumezzane, in Val Trompia, province of Brescia. The setting is no coincidence: the Serafino Zani Astronomical Observatory is located here, and the festival takes its name from the Perseids, the summer shooting stars, evoking the enchantment of the night sky right from the title.
The experience is built over two dense and varied days. It starts in the afternoon with aperitifs, acoustic performances and walks among the artistic installations scattered in the woods; as dusk falls, DJ sets, live music and stargazing begin, thanks to the observatory. Sunday opens with CAI (Italian Alpine Club) excursions and breakfasts in the woods, continues with string quartets, a market area, a communal lunch, and closes with afternoon entertainment, dinner, and new DJ sets.
The festival combines artistic installations, sculptural and textile works, photographic workshops organized by Photoclub Lumezzane, dance moments, yoga and excursions, as well as food stalls and local craft products. Everything is designed to experience the hill as a place to be discovered slowly, where the cultural dimension merges with the natural one.
Organized by the Municipality of Lumezzane together with the Eracle Association and numerous local entities, the Perseidi Festival is free to enter and involves local dance, art, and volunteer associations. It has become an identity-defining event for the Val Trompia community, capable of uniting different generations around the desire, experience, and wonder of the starry sky.
The 2026 edition of the Perseidi Festival enlivens Colle San Bernardo in Lumezzane on July 25 and 26, centered around the theme "Desire, experience and nourishment." Two days of music, art, and nature featuring acoustic performances, sunset DJ sets, forest installations, stargazing at the Serafino Zani Observatory, CAI excursions, string quartets, photographic workshops, and a market area, with the participation of numerous local associations.
Throughout the event: food stalls, artisan products, artistic installations, and photographic workshops by Photoclub Lumezzane.
