The Districts Compete

The Pedrengo Rioni Sports Palio is the event that transforms the municipality in the province of Bergamo into a large playing field each year. Residents are divided into districts that compete in a series of challenges focused on healthy competition, community bonding, and neighbourhood spirit.

Two Weeks of Games and Sports

The Palio takes place over approximately two weeks in June, involving residents of all ages. The program alternates non-competitive sports activities, traditional games, tournaments, and social events: from card games to team challenges, each event is an opportunity to come together and build community.

A Festival for All of Pedrengo

Promoted by the Municipality of Pedrengo and included in the "Lombardia Style 2026" events, the Palio is much more than a competition: it's a way to foster a sense of belonging to the districts and to liven up the town's squares and sports facilities. Children, adults, and the elderly participate side-by-side, each representing their district.
