Peace Festival of San Pellegrino Terme

The June 2nd of Valle Brembana

The Peace Festival of San Pellegrino Terme, in the province of Bergamo, takes place every year on June 2nd on the main avenue of the spa town in Valle Brembana. Promoted by the Tavola della Pace Valle Brembana, the event offers a celebration of the Festival of the Republic and the Constitution based not on military parades but on the participation of students, educators, workers, associations, and civil society.

A Journey Through the Valley

The June 2nd event is the culmination of Pensieri di Pace (Thoughts of Peace), a multi-stage journey that in the preceding months touches various towns in the valley, from San Giovanni Bianco to Piazza Brembana, from Sedrina to Val Brembilla, up to San Pellegrino Terme and Zogno. A path designed to "rebuild a conscience, a culture, and a politics of peace".

A Network of Communities

The event is organized in conjunction with the Municipalities, schools, parishes, associations, and social forces of the valley. The Peace Festival is therefore not just a single day, but the expression of a widespread network that places the values of peace and justice at its center, giving voice particularly to the younger generations.
