Edition 2025 — Parma Ham Festival
The XXVIII edition of the Parma Ham Festival was held in Langhirano (Parma) from September 5th to 7th, 2025, organized by the Consorzio del Prosciutto di Parma with the Pro Loco Langhirano. The opening evening on Friday, September 5th, hosted by Francesca Romana Barberini, welcomed Giulia Ghiretti, a gold medalist swimmer at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, and Francesco Panella with the live version of the quiz "Che faccio, lascio?" set in Italian delicatessens.
A major new feature of this edition was the 'Prosciutto di Parma Experience', a space with talks, show cooking, and a tasting journey featuring three different aging stages of Prosciutto di Parma plus a hand-sliced variant, paired with wines, beers, and local specialties. Throughout the weekend, the town center came alive with delicatessens, street food areas, themed markets, concerts, shows, and guided tours of the Prosciutto Museum. The 'Finestre Aperte' initiative allowed, during the first two weekends of September, visits to ham factories and tastings of the product directly at the production sites.
