A tradition spanning centuries
The Palm Festival and Children's Day is one of the longest-running events in Isola Vicentina, a town in the upper Vicenza area: in 2026, it will reach its 177th edition, a testament to rare continuity in the Veneto festival scene. It is held in the charming Park of Villa Cerchiari on the weekend preceding Palm Sunday, effectively kicking off the spring festival season in the town.
Between the Palio dei Mussi and village celebration
The festival is linked to the historic tradition of the Palio dei Mussi, where teams from the local districts compete in popular games, and the Children's Day, designed for the little ones. The program includes live music, DJ sets, markets, an exhibition of vintage motorcycles, and a funfair, while the food stand offers traditional dishes, most notably the famous Sunday lunch with roast quail and polenta.
Organized by the COASI Association
The event is managed by the COASI Association of Isola Vicentina, in collaboration with local organizations and with the patronage of the Municipality. It is a festival that truly reflects the identity of this Veneto village, successfully passing down a much-anticipated spring tradition from generation to generation.

The 2026 edition, the 177th, of the Palm Festival and Children's Day will liven up the Park of Villa Cerchiari in Isola Vicentina for three days of music, tradition, and gastronomy. Featuring live concerts, DJ sets, the Sunday lunch with roast quail and polenta, the popular Palio dei Mussi games, and the funfair, it is one of the most anticipated events of spring in the Vicenza area.
