The Palio delle Contrade of Roè Volciano is the grand summer festival of this municipality in Valle Sabbia, in the province of Brescia. For over a week, the four districts of the town—Leonessa, Aquila, Rovere, and Ulivo—compete for the palio through a long series of games and competitions that involve the entire community. It is considered one of the longest palios in the region, capable of animating the town for much of July.

The program alternates skill tests and moments of pure fun: from the barrel race through the streets of the historic center to the chariot joust, from the 'palla bollata' challenge to soccer and water volleyball tournaments, up to the diagonal 'cuccagna' and games for children. There is also a parade with costumed figures, district members, and a musical band, which gives the event a historical feel.
Flavors and Colors of the Palio
Every evening, the gastronomic stand and dancing nights with an orchestra accompany the competition, while the event culminates in the gastronomic evening "Palio, flavors and colors" and the final award ceremony for the winning district. The event is organized by the Committee of the Palio delle Contrade of Roè Volciano.
