Edition 2025 — P'carìa

The 20th edition of P'carìa took place on Sunday, January 19, 2025, in Campogalliano. In Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, via Garibaldi, and via Roma, the festival featured crackling cooking, a market for cured meats and gastronomic products, the opening of the Museo della Bilancia, and the 10th Palio del Re Cicciolo, won by Manuel and Gabriele Grisendi despite the low temperatures.

The 20th edition of P'carìa celebrated an important milestone in 2025 for the pig-in-the-square festival in Campogalliano. On Sunday, January 19, from 9 AM, the Salumificio San Martino managed the preparation of cured meats while local pork butchers demonstrated wood-fired cooking techniques for cracklings and head cheese in cauldrons.

Along the town's streets, the Arteingegno craft market, the food and wine market, and the general market unfolded, offering street food, cured meats, cheeses, and wines. From 10:30 AM, the Circolo Polisportiva Campogalliano offered gnocco fritto, polenta with ribs, cotechino with beans, and sandwiches with porchetta and zampone. The day was enlivened by music from rock bands, children's games, and the traditional address by the Famiglia Pavironica from the municipal balcony. At 4:30 PM, the 10th Palio of the Accademia Judices Salatii crowned Manuel and Gabriele Grisendi as Kings of Cracklings.
