The festival that closes the summer
Oratorio in Festa is the big end-of-summer festival of the San Filippo Neri Oratory in Nembro, a town in the Val Seriana in the province of Bergamo. For ten days, spanning late August and early September, the oratory transforms into the beating heart of the town: it's the time when summer draws to a close, school is about to restart, and the community comes together to enthusiastically resume its activities.
Ten days of events
The program alternates between convivial moments and entertainment. Evenings typically follow a consolidated rhythm: aperitifs from 6:00 PM, food from 7:00 PM, and concerts from 9:30 PM, with meetings, entertainment, and activities for children and families. It's a town festival in the fullest sense, made of shared tables, music, and opportunities to gather.
A festival of volunteers
Oratorio in Festa is made possible by the generosity of many volunteers, many of whom are very young, who dedicate themselves each year to the kitchen, setup, and entertainment. More than an event, it is a community experience that strengthens the bond between the oratory and the residents of Nembro.
Oratorio Festival — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Oratorio in Festa is expected, as every year, between late August and early September at the San Filippo Neri Oratory in Nembro, for about ten days of events.
The structure follows the established pattern: aperitifs from 6:00 PM, food from 7:00 PM, and concerts from 9:30 PM, with meetings and entertainment for children and families. The complete calendar will be published by the oratory as the event approaches.
