The opening of the spring season at Parco Lago Nord in Paderno Dugnano
The Open Lake Fest is the event that opens the spring season at Parco Lago Nord in Paderno Dugnano, in the metropolitan area of Milan. For about ten days between late April and early May, the park comes alive with music, shows, and conviviality, in a program that is entirely free and open to all.
The lineup alternates themed evenings, live concerts, and musical tributes: from the 90s vs 2000s opening party to tributes to music legends, up to the big May Day concert. There's also karaoke, parties dedicated to Italian music, and moments of entertainment for families, like the Milano Clown Festival which brings clowns, artists, and performances for all ages to the park.
Alongside the music, Open Lake Fest offers street food areas and a market with stands from artisans, illustrators, and creatives. There's also space for well-being, with events dedicated to yoga, shinrin-yoku, and qi gong, and for the little ones, with shows and workshops. A mix designed to bring people back to the park after winter.
Organized by the Municipality of Paderno Dugnano together with Via Audio, Open Lake Fest is the prelude to the long summer season of Parco Lago Nord. Free and widespread, it represents one of the most anticipated community gatherings of spring in northern Milan, capable of uniting music, flavors, and sociality in one big outdoor festival.
