About Open Day Spin Out
Sottomarina: The Capital of Water Sports
The Open Day Spin Out is the day dedicated to water sports held on the beach of Sottomarina di Chioggia, at the InDiga Beach Establishment, in the province of Venice. Organized by SpinOut ASD, the event allows you to try various aquatic disciplines facing the Adriatic Sea for free.
Disciplines and Free Trials
The program offers collective practical trials of kitesurfing, wingfoiling, surfing, SUP, windsurfing, and surfskating, with technical equipment provided free of charge by the organization. The day opens with a yoga session on the beach open to everyone.
An Ever-Sold-Out Event
Building on great participation success, the Open Day regularly sells out with waiting lists for many disciplines. Those on the waiting list are still invited to attend to watch the theoretical explanations and demonstrations. The day concludes with a shared pizza on the beach at sunset.
Open Day Spin Out — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Open Day Spin Out was held on Sunday, May 3rd (with a rain date of May 10th) at the InDiga Beach Establishment in Sottomarina, from 8 AM to 7 PM, organized by SpinOut ASD.
Kitesurfing, wingfoiling, surfing, SUP, and windsurfing disciplines were fully booked with active waiting lists, while spots remained for surfskating. Technical equipment was provided free of charge by the organization.
Programme Open Day Spin Out 2026
Sunday, May 3rd — Day's Program
- 8:00 AM — Yoga on the Beach session (open to all).
- 9:30 AM — Check-in at the SpinOut gazebo.
- 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM — Collective practical trials: kitesurfing, wingfoiling, surfing, SUP, windsurfing, surfskating (free lunch break).
- 7:00 PM — Shared pizza on the beach.
Rain date: Sunday, May 10th. Technical equipment provided free of charge by the organization.

How to Get Here
Sottomarina di Chioggia is reachable by car via the SS309 Romea. The InDiga Establishment is located on the Sottomarina dam. By train to Venice or Rovigo, then by bus.
Participation
