Cinema under the stars in San Bonifacio
When summer arrives, San Bonifacio (province of Verona) turns off the lights and turns on the big outdoor screen. The Open-Air Cinema evenings, part of the San Bonifacio Summer review, bring audiences to watch films under the stars in two exceptional settings: the garden of Villa Gritti, in the hamlet of Villabella, and the Parco dei Tigli, the green lung of the city center.
Great classics and family films
The program offers a selection of films designed for a wide audience, from great animation classics to family-friendly films. Screenings are free and open to all until capacity is reached, in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere that enhances the city's outdoor spaces.
An initiative of the Municipality
The initiative is promoted by the Municipality of San Bonifacio with the artistic direction of the association "Dinamica, energia culturale". In case of bad weather, screenings are moved indoors to the Civic Hall of the Library, ensuring the evenings go ahead. A summer event that combines culture, sociality, and the rediscovery of San Bonifacio's most beautiful places.
Open-Air Cinema — edition 2026
In the summer of 2026, the Open-Air Cinema of San Bonifacio returns with four free evenings spread across July and August. Three screenings will be held in the garden of Villa Gritti (Villabella hamlet), and one in Parco dei Tigli. Among the confirmed titles is the Disney classic "Sleeping Beauty" (1959), scheduled for Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 9 PM in Parco dei Tigli. Free admission until capacity is reached; in case of bad weather, screenings will move to the Civic Hall of the Library.

The complete schedule for the other three evenings will be published by the Municipality of San Bonifacio in the San Bonifacio d'Estate program. In case of bad weather, screenings will be held in the Civic Hall of the Library.

How to get there
Screenings are held at Villa Gritti (Via Villabella 74, Villabella hamlet) and at Parco dei Tigli (Via Camporosolo 11). San Bonifacio is served by a train station and the Soave-San Bonifacio highway exit (A4).
