The Roverchiara Ribeye Steak Feast
The San Zeno Festival in Roverchiara, in the province of Verona, is famous as the Festa della Costata (Ribeye Steak Feast), described as 'the most famous ribeye steak festival in the Bassa Veronese'. It takes place at the Parochial Sports Centre La Trave and is organised by the La Trave Festival Committee along with the Pro Loco, as part of the celebrations for the patron saint, San Zeno.
Certified Ribeye Steak and Veronese Cuisine
The absolute star is the beef ribeye steak (certified AZOVE heifers), accompanied by traditional Veronese dishes such as maccheroncini with beef and picanha. The food stalls, with ample covered seating, are the heart of a festival that combines fine dining and conviviality for five days.
Orchestras, Theatre, and Motorcycle Rally
The program alternates live orchestras and dance evenings, traditional dialect theatre, dance school performances, and themed conferences. Among the most anticipated events is the Sgasa in Bassa motorcycle rally, starting from Roverchiara's main square. The festival is located about 10 km from Legnago and 35 km from Verona, with ample parking.

The 2026 edition of the Roverchiara Ribeye Steak Feast takes place from September 4 to 8 at the Parochial Sports Centre La Trave. Five days featuring certified beef ribeye steak and Veronese cuisine, accompanied by live orchestras, traditional dialect theatre, dance school performances, and the Sgasa in Bassa motorcycle rally.
