La Scala in Carate Brianza

It's not every day you get to listen to musicians from Teatro alla Scala just a stone's throw from home. That's what Notes of Spring offers, the concert promoted by BCC Carate e Treviglio for its members, hosted at the Auditorium Vittorio Ghezzi in Carate Brianza, in the province of Monza and Brianza.

The Wanderer Sextet

The star of the evening is the Wanderer Sextet, a group composed of orchestra musicians from Teatro alla Scala and the Cameristi della Scala. On stage are the violins of Agnese Ferraro and Lucia Zanoni, the violas of Duccio Beluffi and Joel Imperial, and the cellos of Gianluca Muzzolon and Beatrice Pomarico: an ensemble capable of reproducing all the timbral richness and intimate dialogue of chamber music.

Mozart and Tchaikovsky

The program is dedicated to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, two pillars of the chamber repertoire that highlight, on one hand, the formal elegance and clarity of Viennese classicism, and on the other, the expressive depth and warmth of the Russian romantic school. A combination that enhances the extraordinary synergy between the performers.

Initiatives like Notes of Spring demonstrate the commitment of local entities—in this case, the local cooperative credit bank—to bringing high-level culture and music to Carate Brianza and throughout the Monza Brianza region, with events reserved for members but capable of enhancing city spaces like the Auditorium Ghezzi.
